How Your Organisation Can Get Involved
We encourage you to participate in Kind Hearted Week by engaging students and/or staff in various activities designed to support children and women facing hardship.
- Superhero Dress-Up Day: Encourage students and/or staff to dress up as a superhero of their choice—whether a character they've created, an everyday hero like caregivers, sportspersons, emergency services personnel, or simply by wearing a purple t-shirt. Students/staff can participate by bringing a gold coin donation, with proceeds directly supporting Kind Hearted Australia's initiatives.
- Colouring Kind Hearted Butterflies: Participants can colour our 'Kind Hearted' butterfly design, available for free download on our website. These beautiful artworks will be displayed at our annual Metamorphosis Gala in May.
- Fundraising Events: Market the day and get your community onboard to raise extra funds for your school or business by hosting a bake sale, dance, or lap-a-thon.

KOOKOORNINY LAUNCH : 7 December 2024
Please join us for a delicious banquet dinner at to launch Kookoorniny, an initiative by Kind Hearted Australia Ltd aimed at providing long-term transitional housing for women & their children escaping domestic violence in Western Australia.
Lantern on the Quay will be closing the restaurant to the public for this very special event, which occurs during the 16 Days in WA campaign, providing a mouthwatering banquet to all guests attending. A glass of sparkling on arrival is also included, and a selection of beverages will also be available to purchase.
Please wear orange, the colour of the 16 Days in WA campaign, to symbolise a brighter future, free of violence.
METAMORPHOSIS GALA : 24 May 2025
Kind Hearted Australia Ltd is pleased to present the Metamorphosis Gala, a black tie evening dedicated to raising funds for our Kookoorniny initiative, being held in the brand new Golden Ballroom at the Pan Pacific Hotel Perth.
The Kookoorniny project focuses on building long-term transitional housing for women and their children escaping domestic violence, providing them with a safe haven to rebuild their lives.
The Metamorphosis Gala is a prestigious fundraising event that brings together community leaders, philanthropists, and advocates to support our mission. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening filled with entertainment, gourmet dining, and inspiring speeches highlighting the impact of our work.
The primary objective of the Metamorphosis Gala is to raise funds for the Kookoorniny initiative, specifically for the construction and maintenance of transitional housing tiny homes.
